What is a “Response Team Member”?

After Luis Palau proclaims the Gospel at Celebrate Freedom™ 2008, prayerfully thousands will respond by making a decision for Jesus Christ. We are calling for an equal number of excited volunteers to greet each of them with love, encouragement, and guidance.

As a Response Team volunteer, you will gather a new believer’s contact information so that churches will be able to follow up with them, welcoming them into the body of Christ! Response Team Members are ordinary people who want to experience something extraordinary … to take hold of one of the greatest privileges a Christian can have. They want to share in the joy of welcoming a new Christian to the family.

How do I join the “Response Team”?

To serve as a Response Team Member, you need to complete Response Team Member training, a 45-minute video session where instructors will explain how to check-in on site, how to locate the new decision makers, and describe the materials you will be giving them.

Step 1: SIGN UP through your church or online today!

Step 2: TRAIN Participate in training through your church or small group, go online, or attend a “last chance” Response Team Member training onsite. Simply show up, view the training, then fill out a registration card at the end. That’s all there is to it!

Step 3: REMINDER POSTCARD After completing Response Team training, and just before the festival, you will receive a reminder postcard in the mail. You must bring this with you to the festival.

Step 4: CHECK IN When you arrive at Celebrate Freedom™ 2008, go to Response Team Check-In, an area set up just for Response Team Members. There you will receive your visor and other important counseling materials.

Step 5: BRIEFING Attend a Response Team Member briefing prior to serving.

Step 6: PRAY Pray for God’s guidance, and go help someone find Jesus!
